I feel like there was a migration away from the fringe-alts when omgomgomgltcongox, but it seems like folks are venturing out to play again. IFC is hoppin'! Here's to increased support on mining, marketplace, and money...damn, i got mad alliteration skillz.

I love it too. I think it is directly connected to the 1 month reward halving. Giving you less each month is bound to slowly increase the price and steadily too.

Yeah I aggree ! I think that too.
Also, I love the 30s block frequency. You can confirm transactions much faster than with any other cryptocoin. There is a lot of comfort with this because anyone can handle a 30s confirmation delay, even with fast payment and instant services. This is actually 20 times faster than Bitcoin.

Nope, not really. This is what happens when speculators feel they aren't taking people's money fast enough. They make bubbles and bubbles pop. Hopefully with the speculator pump/dump out of the way the previous trend will be allowed to continue.

Today was very hard for me to watch... There are a few different dynamics that come into play here...

Not bad for only being a few months old... Its got potential to reach 1000 as its bottom value point.

I've got at least 10 "I told you!" type phrases today.. Instead of dwelling on it, I look at it as an opportunity to reinvest at maybe another angle.

I think the addition of IFC to BTER was badly timed aswell. It just so happen to be added at the peak of IFC's bubble. I think it may have ruined our little area of near isolation on cryptsy and opened up room for arbitrage traders throwing off the normal flow. That combined with LTC rising and I think you have an induced panic.

Most new coins have a "generalistic schema" :
- difficulty low => many people being greedy, won't hoard small coins
- it gets a pump & dump followed by emergency evacuations (panic sells!)
- coin is at this time either dead or alive or both (IFC, infinite CAT :p) and it's its community who back its value (so would do gov with fiat and banks)
- if it survives, new persons getting interrest on it as price is cheap and core hoarders still there.

Don't get disturbed if the price crashes near the beginning, elaborate your plan and STICK to it
