General Infinitecoin Discussion / Re: still have a team?
« on: June 21, 2014, 09:42:08 AM »
I think the best has yet to come and we should all try to contribute in one kind of way to make it happen.  At this moment the focus of people seems to be on shitcoins. I personally think this means there are lot's of newbies who enter the market and only fall for the green numbers on coinmarketcap. Eventually all these coins die, and the'll have to stick to a coin with a future like IFC. Seen a great example in the Netherlands with the two coins guldencoin en e-gulden. Both are dead. We can all help to attract these newbies to IFC.

Much respect for the team. A wise man once said: Complaining is never a solution, you're the solution yourself.
Thank you for your understanding. Some how people seem to think all the failures of IFC are my responsibility, but none of its successes.

You are correct the main issue is TONS of new users looking for fast and easy money betting on fly by night coins, basically nothing more than a form of gambling. They don't know or care to know the reasons why the cryptocoin community worked so hard to get to this point, they just want money with no work. They don't seem to understand that the concept of cryptocoins freeing people from easily manipulated fiat markets is more important than their individual petty greed. These newb users would rather just turn cryptocoins into Wallstreet 2.0. where everyone gets screwed.

People are treating cryptocoins like a stock. IT IS NOT A STOCK, it is a method of exchange. If everyone treats it like a stock and doesn't use it as a method of exchange, and they all think they are the smartest one out of the group doing no work, then IFC will never succeed.
Without individual users working to get people trading, investing, and developing IFC projects, it wouldn't matter if I spent every waking moment working on IFC. I suggest IFC users start putting their money where their mouth is.

Still waiting for some kind of contribution from you Kashish other than nay saying, lazy bounty attempts, and borderline scamming.

According to me what we need is "innovation". Right now we have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING that is unique to IFC. Just nothing! I have been in IFC for a long time so im bagholding some but other than that, I don't see a single reason why anyone would invest here. There are like 20 other coins with much better investment opportunity.

Unless we get something new unseen to IFC I dont see a big future with a revamped website or a new logo :( Sad but true!
Still waiting to see if you are capable of contributing anything other than complaints and sheisty attempts at bounties.

A loser's words! I am not the head of IFC team but I suppose you are, so lets see what you have done for the past 6 months? Anything big?

Why are you waiting for me to contribute to IFC, don't you have a team for it?

And you are the only person from the so many dev teams in the crypto world who doesn't want to be criticized or asked questions. Lol you are the only one even in the IFC team!

Your team member asks for suggestions and when you get some reality check (which shows on the price btw) and a suggestion to do something innovative, you show what you are capable of > TYPING SHIT AND NOT ADDRESSING ANY REAL PROBLEM.

Oh and the bounties, what is the problem if someone tries to post for bounties? Didn't you want that? Oh, maybe only the winner should post lol (BTW I remember someone not getting a bounty because he did not use Skype! )

Borderline scamming? hhhmmmm that's interesting. Any proof or just shit you asshole?

Last thing! Learn something from JC.
Practically everything that IFC has developed has been a result of my work or people who I found to help IFC. IFC was on its deathbead before I showed up and pulled it into record territories.  This works both ways. I am getting very little support for the community. Everyone just keeps saying how I should do more while they sit on their asses and hope I make them rich.

The reason dev teams don't like this brand of complaining is it is generally from people who do nothing. Also dev teams are usually volunteers, why should they burn themselves out for ungrateful people such as yourself?

As far as you and the bounties, you plagiarizing other peoples work does not count as a contribution. If you would like evidence that I spent my own money to pay for a professional to do a design just check out my bitcointalk feedback.

P.S. I am giving you one warning to check your attitude.

This is pretty cool! Thanks for adding us :) I would love to hear more about your IFC game.

Convenient they do this as the market dips. Who wants to bet the errors will return with the next rally?

WordPress, graphics or joomla I can donate some time. I am already on staff for another coin which is going to go through a major rehash. Unfortunately at this time I cannot divulge this info due to a non disclosure agreement. However as a marketing professional I feel the reason why many coins do fail is for the reasons I mention. We can either sit on the sidelines like spectators or act like real players and punt this coin to the moon and over the goal post in order to score.

When a forum becomes stagnant so does the community, and in turn people stop visiting. It will take the effort of a team of individuals who can donate some time to the future of this coin, in order to secure their own financial future and the future of all IFC Coin holders.

Thank you brother, this is exactly the mindset we need. Everyone treats crypto like stocks when it is meant to be a method of transfer. Everyone wants to get rich but no one wants to spend any of it to help keep the coin moving forward. Everyone enjoys the benefits of a p2p system but treat volunteers like a top down corporate pyramid of paid employees. Of course none of them ever like hearing these things and they never have a response other than more childish raving. Glad to have you with us, and I hope you can help us motivate people into the correct mindset for moving forward.

To be clear, I said we are looking for catchy "slogans" and the logos etc weren't essential so you could use other designs!

Hope this clarifies!

Yes, I understand. As it is this isn't a "logo" contest anyway.
So, by when do you think a winner will be decided?
Seeing as not one of these designs posted were created by the poster, and I have already paid a party outside the forum for a design, I am not paying out for taking somone else's work and pasting it on a tshirt template. If some one makes something ORIGINAL based on their own work I may consider it.

Can't believe you guys aren't posting so you can receive the free coins!
Why would I try when I basically was ignored for the bounty on the t-shirt designs just because I do not do "Skype" as it is reliant on to many third party applications which I care not to install or mess with. I gave other very feasible messaging options, and thus was still ignored.
I don't have time to talk to everyone on their own terms. Sorry you are offended by this but there is simply too much to do. I get why you don't like skype but thats where a lot of our activity is already. I don't have time to installl and work with everyone's preferential communication system. BTW you will be happy to know www.infinitecoin.com now has an integrated IRC chat.

I've been interested in the cryptocurrency movement from the time I heard about what was going on with Bitcoin. As alarmed as I've been about what's going on with fiat currencies across the world, it just seemed prudent to have a significant stake in an alternative. Or four.
Glad to have you! Welcome. You have been whitelisted.

20    Infinitecoin   $ 2,515,175   $ 0.000028   90,507,980,861 IFC   $ 4,483   +1.28 %

we need to do something to get some volume urgently!
Actually no. If you have noticed most of the market has been dropping. Low volume on a down turn is what you want. Getting tired of always seeing alarmist posts from you.
